training equals to competition
competition equals to training
how many true sportsmen out there really understand what it really means?
today...
i found my definition to that phrase
i've trained so hard
for so long
prepared everything i need
did what is suppose to be done
but when the big day comes and i screw up
as in when someone really understands that phrase
everything seemed so clear
i've trained so hard just to go and win this competition
why the apprehension?
it like you worked so hard for something
then when you finally get it
you scare the shit out of yourself
heh... come on
you work so hard just to shine at that moment
and you chicken out
what's more
when you know you really can shine
what a pity
i know that feeling
its rather familiar
hit me twice right smack in the middle of my face
competition is training
who said winning competition is always equals to the medals
there's a saying that goes
'one's strongest opponent is himself'
that's what competition is all about
you don't compete with the rest
your target is yourself
several coaches taught me a very important lesson
but i really understood it today
what is success?
to beat your strongest opponent
and that would be who?
me! as in yourself
then how to?
by unleashing your fullest potential
as simple as that
but it took me 3 years to get it
and amongst this busy life i'm trying to live
for once i have something nice to blog about
pistol wasn't anywhere near me when i was doing rifle
but what was glaring to coach seemed invisible to me
i sure am much talented in pistol than in rifle
i guess you address special people as coach for a reason
within only 6 months and medals come rolling in
my first medal for rifle took me 1 years plus
and well well well,
if i work hard enough
i might get a chance to represent Singapore in the youth Olympics held here!
'FAT HOPE' (guess alot of people will say that huh?!'
well, the one thing i'm thrill that is at least i'm eligible
i will turn 18 during 2010
and just nice for me
what's more, i will be the oldest bunch taking advantage over the younger kids

i just gave me new hope
a sense of direction
a drive for me to propel forward
oh well
i guess my tagboard will be flooded
with people and their comments
trying to burst my bubble
hahax
